3 Ways to Simplify Your Holidays

Don’t Get Overwhelmed This Holiday Season

Whether you’re family oriented or a lone wolf during the ‘The Season’, life can seem super stressful!

All year, time seems to fly by.

But, from Halloween all the way thru the New Year – the time that flew, now seems to have some kind of ‘Superman’ lightspeed ability, and before we know it, it’s back to the usual daily life.

I have some suggestions to help you stay focused, organized, and still be able to enjoy all the wonderful memory making festivities that this time of year invokes 🙂

Take Care of Yourself First!

Remember to make the time for sleep, exercise and healthy eating. We all go a little overboard with the late nights, early mornings, and a little too much indulging in all those holiday treats.  Taking care of YOU is the first step in a stress free life!  When you are well rested, healthy, and have the nutrients you need; you are able to focus and accomplish!

Pre-plan Your Holidays

Don’t get overwhelmed with the holidays by spending some time pre-planning by creating an online calendar (gmail, yahoo, outlook) that you are able to share with friends and family to keep everyone on track.

Create checklists for your holiday budget and gift giving will help you not overspend or forget anything.  Streamlining your lists with your calendar will make you even more successful.

Create a Budget and Stick to it.

Overspending is all too easy this time of year. unfortunately money is important and a huge stress inducer. So being prepared and having a financial plan will help relieve some of that stress and allow you to enjoy all of the wonderful things this season brings!

Remember to allow for a little excess – it is the Holidays 🙂
